Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest have recently confirmed the appointment of Roy Keane as the club's new assistant manager.

The 47-year old is no stranger to those at the City Ground, having made over 110 appearances for the Reds during a three-year stint with the club, before departing for Manchester United in 1993.

The Irishman is also no stranger to new Forest boss Martin O'Neill - the pair worked together in charge of the Republic of Ireland national team for five years, and led the Irish to a round of 16 finish in the 2016 European Championships.

The pair will be looking to guide Forest into the play-offs after an impressive 3-1 victory over Wigan Athletic at the weekend - the Reds currently sit 9th in the Sky Bet Championship table, four points off the top six.
