The Nottingham Forest squad are set to fly out to Greece for a pre-season training camp as Sabri Lamouchi's men step up their preparations ahead of the new season.

The Reds are heading to Athens for a five-day trip which will include friendly matches against Atromitos and Olympiacos, with the first of these taking place on Saturday.

It has been a busy week at the City Ground, with Lamouchi making a number of additions to his squad as he adapts to life as Forest boss.

Albert Adomah, Yuri Ribeiro, Arijanet Muric, Tiago Silva and Alfa Semedo have all put pen to paper with the Reds over the last seven days. Meanwhile, it was announced on Friday morning that striker Karim Ansarifard has departed the club to join Al-Sailiya.

Forest have used their Twitter account to share an image of some of the new-look squad on their way to Greece:

Plenty of Forest supporters reacted to the second picture in particular, in which Joe Worrall and Claudio Yacob are all smiles. Worrall has returned to Forest following his loan spell at Rangers last term, while Yacob's future at the club is in doubt amid reported interest from Olympiacos.
