Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer has revealed that Dillon Phillips won't start as the club's first-choice goalkeeper in the 2020/21 season. 

The Addicks boss has revealed that Phillips has turned down a new contract with the club, and Ben Amos will start between the posts for them this year's league campaign.

Phillips was hugely impressive for Charlton last season, as he made 47 appearances for Bowyer's side, and it appears as though his impressive performances didn't go unnoticed, despite the Addicks being relegated from the Championship.

The likes of Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers are just some of the teams interested in landing his signature ahead of the new season, although it remains to be seen as to whether either club will match Charlton's valuation of Phillips.
