Portsmouth are on the verge of signing free agent Jordi Hiwula as Kenny Jackett looks to strengthen his options in the final third.
#Pompey are set to sign free agent forward Jordy Hiwula on a contract until January

The forward has yet to find a club having left Coventry City in the summer, where he featured in 15 games as they won promotion from League One last season.
And, it appears that a move to Fratton Park is imminent, with reporter Andrew Moon revealing on Twitter that a deal for the 26-year-old is expected to go through later on and he claimed Hiwula will sign a contract until January initially.
That means that the ex-Walsall man will be available for Saturday’s important game at Sunderland, although a lack of match fitness may prevent him from being involved in the next few weeks.
Even though Hiwula has a decent record at this level over the years, it’s fair to say his potential arrival prompted a mixed reaction from the fans. Here we look at some of the comments…
got to ask yourself why he's still available on a free 2 month's after the season has started

I've been hoping we sign him. Was good at Coventry when I saw him against us.

Surprised they’ve done this given Harrison apparently only out for another couple weeks. Maybe another indication he’s leaning more towards two up top

Good addition gives us more options happy with that

If we get him firing, it will be a decent signing
