After a stuttering start to the Championship season at Aston Villa, that sees them sitting in 12th, the pressure continues to be ramped up, on under-fire manager Steve Bruce.

Bruce initially had an uncertain pre-season while club ownership issues were finalised but once confirmed, the new owners supported Bruce in the transfer window with a number of marquee loan signings.

But with an injury time equaliser salvaging a point at Blackburn at the weekend, has the time come for the owners to sack Bruce?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

Give him a few more games, at least five and see then.

It looks like it could be going that way, but who is out there to replace a manager with the amount of Championship experience?

It would be knee-jerk and I think Bruce will be able to turn it around, so stick with him for now.

Results might improve, and if they don’t then Villa need to cross that bridge when they come to it.

Gary Hutchinson

Yes, absolutely.

He’s proving the football world has left him behind this season. He’s got wonderful players but can’t get them firing at all.

Some might say give him time, let Abraham settle and start scoring, but I think he’s a dead man walking.

Gone by Halloween.

Sam Rourke

You need to give him time.

We are only in the early stages of the season, and the Villans have a lot of time to change their form.

Realistically, who would come in and do a better job?
