Ipswich Town remain top of the League One table, as they ran out 2-0 winners over Accrington Stanley at Portman Road on Saturday.

Goals from Gwion Edwards and Freddie Sears proved to be enough for Paul Lambert's side, as they retained their unbeaten start to this year's league campaign.

It's been a much-improved start to the new season in League One for the Tractor Boys, and they'll be eager to build on these impressive showings as the campaign progresses.

Paul Lambert's side finished 11th in the third-tier last term, after the season was concluded on a PPG (points per game) basis, which saw them miss out on a top-six finish.

But they seem to be wasting no time in stamping their authority on matches this season, and will fancy their chances of winning promotion this term.

Plenty of Ipswich Town supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on this recent win over Accrington Stanley, which keeps them top of the table.
