Sunderland's supporters couldn't hide their delight after completing the signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bristol City.
The forward has moved to the Stadium Of Light on a loan deal that will run until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old is highly-rated at Ashton Gate and has made seven first team appearances for the Robins in the Championship this term, but will be hoping for more regular first team football after linking up with the Black Cats.
Speaking to Sunderland's official website, Semenyo said: "It’s been a long wait to get the deal done, but it’s finally signed and I’ve joined a great club.
"It’s got so much history and I’ve heard so many great things about it from lots of people, so I’m proud to be a part of that.
“I’m looking forward to working with the manager because I want to improve every day. I can’t wait to get started.â€
