Nottingham Forest lost 2-0 to Barnsley at Oakwell this afternoon and many Reds fans have turned on manager Chris Hughton after the game.

Hughton's men dominated the game for long periods but were unable to make the most of their chances.

Barnsley made them pay late on as first Callum Styles and then Cauley Woodrow found the net inside the last 10 minutes to hand them a defeat that leaves them only four points above the relegation zone.

Forest headed into the game with some positivity after picking up back-to-back victories before the international break but the loss to the Tykes has threatened to ruin that momentum.

Hughton was brought in to replace Sabri Lamouchi in October but has now won only three of his first eight games, not the sort of record the City Ground faithful will have been hoping for.

Despite the Championship bringing in a new rule which allows sides to make five substitutions and the fact that Forest have one of the deepest squads in the division, the Reds boss made just one change against the Tykes.
