Queens Park Rangers will be determined to provide their supporters with something to shout about at Loftus Road tomorrow when they face Middlesbrough.

The R's suffered a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers in the Championship last weekend.

Lewis Travis netted what turned out to be the winning goal for Rovers in the 34th minute as he fired a long-range effort into the top-corner.

QPR failed to get back into the game following this particular strike as Blackburn sealed all three points at Ewood Park.

Set to take on Middlesbrough on Saturday, the R's will need to step up their performance levels in order to have a chance of securing a positive result in this fixture.

QPR will be boosted by the fact that Chris Willock is set to be available for selection after recovering from illness.

Luke Amos and Tyler Roberts could also potentially feature for Michael Beale's side this weekend.

Ahead of tomorrow's clash, FLW's QPR fan pundit Louis Moir has revealed that he believes that the club will lose to Middlesbrough.

Speaking to FLW, Moir said: "Unfortunately I think our first home game of this new season is going to end in defeat at home to Middlesbrough.

"I think we're going to lose 2-1 and my reason for this is, I feel Middlesbrough are definitely going to be up there this year as one of the strongest sides in this division.

"I think they're going to continue to grow and develop under Chris Wilder.

"At times last season they were challenging for the top-six and they weren't quite consistent enough, especially towards the end of the season where they just fell away.

"Similar to us in a way.

"I think they have really sort of strengthened in key areas as well in this window, I like the signing they've made and I'm impressed by Darragh Lenihan on a free [transfer], the loan signing of Ryan Giles and they've spent a bit of money on Marcus Forss.

"I think he'll score goals up-front for them and they've just got the basis of a very good squad from defence to attack and I think they'll gel and develop.

"Therefore, I think it's going to be a really tough encounter for us.

"We're still waiting on a couple more players to get fully fit and a few more players to come through the door in the last few weeks of this summer transfer window.

"Unfortunately, I can see us losing this one and Middlesbrough to come to Loftus Road and pick up all three points."
