Middlesbrough are now four games without a win after they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.

Tony Pulis' side were once again below par and fell behind just four minutes into the game.

Even though they managed to get back level after the break thanks to a George Saville goal, Nahki Wells grabbed what turned out to be the winner on the hour mark.

The result means Boro have now not won since 24 November and they have lost considerable ground on the top two.

Instead, the Teessiders will be looking over their shoulder and they know a Nottingham Forest victory against rivals Derby on Monday night will see Boro drop out of the top six.

As you would expect, this has brough severe criticism from supporters, particularly due to the defensive football that Pulis insists on.
