Aston Villa have been at the forefront of the Football League news agenda once again, this time for their January transfer dealings.

Kortney Hause has arrived on loan from Wolves until the end of the season whilst the battle for Tammy Abraham has ensued between Dean Smith's side and last year's second-tier champions.

After missing a day of training to apparently hold talks with Wolves, Abraham returned on Tuesday, much to the relief of the majority of fans.

It transpires that he may not be able to play for another club this season having already played for two, something that FIFA are expected to block.

Now, club legend Paul McGrath has come out and lavished the 21-year-old with praise for rejecting the "money" and deciding to stay with Villa.

Having played over 250 times for the club throughout his career, McGrath is someone who the fans respect immensely so this is a rather nice endorsement for Abraham to have.
