Football League World's Luton Town fan pundit Dylan Bhundia has given his thoughts on the club's rumoured interest in acquiring the services of Torquay United striker Jamie Reid, with sources close to the club having exclusively told FLW of their interest in the 25-year-old earlier this month.

The former Exeter City man has been in superb form for the Gulls this season, netting 14 goals in his first 20 National League games this term, with his performances having seen the Devon based club into fifth place at the time of writing.

Given the impact he has made for his current club, it is perhaps unsurprising that Luton have allegedly taken an interest in acquiring the front man's services in January.

We decided to ask Bhundia for his thoughts on the rumoured interest, when we caught up with our Luton Town fan pundit at the back end of last week:

"His goals tally is impressive, and we should always be looking within the lower leagues for talent, as it is a market which isn't as saturated as others.

"Goal scorers are always a bonus, but I'm not sure if his style would fit into the way we play this season.

"Plus with Hylton on the way back to full fitness, we have a good backup for James Collins."

It is fair to say that our fan pundit doesn't particularly see the full benefits of Luton acquiring yet another striker, particularly with both Collins and Cornick performing well so far, the Hatters are seemingly well stocked in that area of the pitch.

The Bedfordshire based side will no doubt be looking to get back to winning ways in the league, when they take on high-flying Leeds United on the 23rd following the international break.
