‘Gives me a right headache’ – These West Brom fans are divided on 25-y/o after midweek performance

West Bromwich Albion missed a massive opportunity to gain ground on the automatic promotion places on Monday night, after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Brentford.

After Middlesbrough’s 3-0 weekend defeat to Aston Villa, Darren Moore’s men were looking to make it four wins on the bounce to put pressure on second-placed Leeds United.

The Baggies looked a good bet for the win after Harvey Barnes netted in the 77th minute, but Albion were punished after sitting back for the last 10 minutes, as Lewis MacLeod equalised in the dying embers of the match – they now find themselves sitting four points off the automatic promotion places.

One player who has divided opinions is Sam Johnstone – the Baggies’ shot-stopper has now conceded 28 goals in 20 games this term, but made some fantastic saves to keep the score at 0-0, before Barnes’ late goal.

Here, we take a look at West Brom fans’ reactions to Johnstone’s performance on Monday night…
