Leeds United's under 23's side shared the spoils with Wolves on Friday evening in the Premier League Cup as they played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.

A brace from Stuart McKinstry wasn't quite enough for the young Whites as both Benny Ashley-Seal and Luke Cundle saw the visitors fight back from two goals down.

McKinstry's second goal on the day caught the eye, as the winger nutmegged a Wolves defender before running half the length of the pitch before firing home at the second time of asking.

The 17-year-old moved to Leeds in the summer of 2019, but is yet to make an appearance for the Whites' first-team under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa.

Plenty of the Elland Road faithful took to social media following McKinstry's impressive solo goal, with some supporters claiming that youngster should be in the Leeds first team in the second-half of this year's campaign.
