Gillingham have announced that they have struck a loan deal with Cardiff City to bring their defender Deji Oshilaja back to the club, while Lee Martin has also signed a two year deal, according to the club’s official website.
The Nigerian defender will spend 12 months at the Priestfield Stadium and this will be his third spell with the club.
Martin is a former Manchester United trainee, who has signed on a permanent deal and has an excessive amount of Championship experience with Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic.
Oshilaja will return to the Gills having made 25 appearances last season – scoring 3 goals, and helped them finish in 9th place in League One.
The defender will benefit from another season at Gillingham to develop his career and gain first team football at the League One side.
The duo will link up for pre-season training this week to prepare for their first League One fixture against Southend United on the 6th August.
