Sheffield United welcome Nottingham Forest this weekend for the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final.

It will no doubt be a tight encounter with both sides hoping to come away from the first game with an advantage.

However, the Blades will be hoping that the home advantage can play to their favour and motivate them to get a result.

Here, we take a look at how Paul Heckingbottom's side might line up for the game.

Here, we see Sheffield United line up the same way they did on the final day of the season as they beat champions Fulham 4-0.

Wes Foderingham remains in goal and will be looking to pick up his 19th clean sheet of the season in this game.

Jack Robinson, John Egan and Chris Basham make up the back three and will be hoping they can help their side get another clean sheet.

Basham extended his contract with the Blades this week so there will no doubt be lots of support for him on the day.

Enda Stevens, John Fleck, Oliver Norwood and Ben Osborn remain as the midfield four. Stevens scored his side's final goal on the final day of the normal season so will be hoping he can have an impact going forward again.

Sander Berge sits in behind a front two of Morgan Gibbs-White and Iliman Ndiaye.

All three players scored on the final day of the season and although Gibbs-White has had an injury, Heckingbottom confirmed he has been back in training meaning he will likely opt for this solid trio again.

Billy Sharp could be fit for the fixture meaning we could see some involvement from him but there is no chance of him starting the game.
