Loads of Charlton Athletic fans have reacted after an update regarding top summer target Marcus Maddison emerged on Wednesday evening.

The Addicks have had a bid accepted by Peterborough United for the winger but negotiations with Maddison himself seem to be stalling.

And on Wednesday, Posh chairman and owner Darragh MacAnthony told Sky Sports News that Charlton, Birmingham City and an unnaemd mid-table club had all had offers accepted for the winger.

It is thought that the unnamed club is Hull City, with former Peterborough manager and player Grant McCann currently plying his trade there.

With Kamil Grosicki likely to leave this window it has increased the chances of the Tigers moving for Maddison now, and some Charlton fans are now resigned to missing out on his services.

However, others remain confident. But with just under two days of the window now remaining, something will have to move quickly.
