After weeks of speculation, it looks as if Luton Town defender Jack Stacey may be set to depart Kenilworth Road for the Premier League.

The full-back enjoyed a hugely impressive season with the Hatters as they won the League One title last time out, scoring four goals and producing eight assists from right-back.

After such an eye-catching campaign, AFC Bournemouth have been rivalling Celtic in pursuit of the defender's signature this summer, although it looks like the former look to win the race for him.

After having three previous bids rejected for the 23-year-old, reputable journalist Tom Barclay now claims that Bournemouth have agreed a £4million deal with Luton for Stacey, with the full-back rejecting interest from Nathan Jones' Stoke City.

Luton have already lost another talented full-back this summer, with James Justin departing for Leicester City for a reported fee of £6million.

Stacey has been a regular for the Hatters since his move from Reading two years ago, but after a string of impressive displays last term, the Premier League awaits the exciting defender.
