Former West Bromwich Albion striker Romelu Lukaku has suggested that the Baggies kitman, Pat Frost, is his favourite kitman, which has drawn an excited response from many fans of the Midlands club.

The Belgian forward spent the 2012/13 season on loan at the Hawthorns from Chelsea and was hugely impressive – scoring 17 times and providing seven assists in 38 matches for the Midlands club.

Lukaku returned to Stamford Bridge at the end of that term but has gone on to have success at Everton, Manchester United and now Inter Milan, as well as scoring more than 50 goals for the Belgian national side.

In a Twitter Q&A yesterday, the 26-year-old revealed that Frost, who is still at the Hawthorns, is his favourite kitman.

Lukaku and Frost's exchange appears to have caught the attention of many Baggies fans, with some calling for the number nine to come back to the club.

Slaven Bilic's side are second in the Championship and look as though they're on route back to the Premier League but the forward line is an area that could do with some improvement.

Hal Robson-Kanu is the only player in their squad to score more than eight league goals this season, with both Charlie Austin and Kenneth Zohore not having thrived since arriving in the summer.

A return for Lukaku seems very unrealistic but it appears many Baggies supporters aren't afraid to try their luck.
