Kemar Roofe is a man bang in form at Elland Road, with the Leeds United forward spearheading Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion push in the Sky Bet Championship.

Leeds’ strong position in the Championship table has been partly down to Roofe’s goals, with the 25-year-old scoring his ninth and tenth goals of the season in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers.

Heading into January, Roofe’s deal is ticking into its final 18 month, with the Yorkshire Evening Post confirming that at this moment in time, Leeds haven’t moved to offer the prolific forward fresh terms.

It’s something that they plan to do in the New Year, with Leeds not wanting to let the former Oxford favourite’s deal enter its final year.

This morning, there’s been plenty of debate across social media, as Leeds’ supporters discuss Roofe’s long-term future.
