‘Get rid. Simples.’ – Sheffield Wednesday’s supporters furious at latest player update

Sheffield Wednesday’s start to the Sky Bet Championship season has been frustrating for the club’s supporters, who are expecting another challenge for promotion after back-to-back top-six finishes.

Carlos Carvalhal has been hindered during the early weeks of the season by a number of injuries to his players, and also the absence of Fernando Forestieri, who has not been considered for selection following a incident at training.

Forestieri missed out on clashes with Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland, with Carvalhal opting to exclude the Italian following a bust-up with Sam Winnall in training.

Since then, Forestieri has apologised to the club and is now working to get back into Carvalhal’s plans.

Just over a year ago Forestieri was forced to apologise, having refused to play for the Owls, amid speculation surrounding his future.

Following Forestieri’s latest apology, here is how Wednesday’s supporters reacted…
