Bolton Wanderers suffered yet another humiliation again yesterday as former manager Keith Hill came back to haunt the Trotters.

Now in charge of Tranmere Rovers, Hill had a spell at his hometown club last season, but was unable to save them from relegation to League Two.

He brought his new outfit to the University of Bolton Stadium with a point to prove - and they took the opportunity with both hands.

Veteran defender Peter Clarke opened the scoring in the first half, then second half strikes from Kieron Morris and James Vaughan completed a 3-0 demolition job for the Super White Army.

It moved them above Bolton in the League two table and it was another step back for the Trotters, having picked up a vital win on the road in midweek against Cheltenham.

They've now lost three of their last four games, including an embarrassing 6-3 defeat to Port Vale at home two weeks ago and questions are being asked of players and staff by dejected fans.

With some of the summer transfer business the club did, a strong start was expected of Wanderers, but languishing in 16th spot, fresh faces may be needed in January.

That may extend to beyond the playing squad as well, as sections of the fanbase have already ran out of patience with Ian Evatt, who was headhunted from Barrow in July to become the new manager of the club.

Check out some of the fiery responses to Bolton's latest defeat below in which some fans have made their opinion of Evatt's managerial acumen very clear.
