Norwich City winger Ben Marshall’s surprise appearance at The Den on Saturday evening was a big talking point after a dull game ended with Millwall losing 2-0 to Blackburn Rovers.

The 27-year-old was at the London club’s home to watch the live televised game between two of his former sides instead of being involved at Carrow Road in his permanent club’s home clash with West Brom.

It was a surprise for many to see the former Millwall loanee back after a successful stint at the Championship club last season.

This led to speculation that a deal for the winger was imminent despite Neil Harris cooling his interest in the Norwich man back in the middle of December.

Marshall played 17 times for the Lions last season, scoring three times and registering five assists on his way to helping his temporary side finish eighth in the Championship after one season back in the second tier.

With that said, here’s how the Millwall supporters reacted on Twitter to the sighting of Marshall at The Den last weekend.
