Leeds United are in the race to secure an agreement for Sean Clare, formerly of Sheffield Wednesday, reports TeamTALK.

Fulham and Swansea are also in the race to sign the 21-year-old central midfielder, but Leeds are firmly in the frame too.

Would Clare be a good signing for Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds?

We discuss...

George Dagless

It's worth a go.

He's available and has talent so could really excel for Leeds.

I'm fairly sure he'd not be welcomed back to Hillsborough in the nicest way if he does go though...

Gary Hutchinson

Clare would be a great signing for Leeds, he's young and ambitious with bags of potential and could grow into a wonderful footballer.

It would certainly sting across the Yorkshire divide, knowing that their prized asset left for nothing and could now be adding value with their rivals.

Get it secured Radz and Orta.

Jay Taylor

With Adam Forshaw injured, Leeds are in need of a replacement.

It is a long-term absence that the Championship side need to fill and they have had an interest in Clare even since his Nike Academy days.

Having been released from Sheffield Wednesday, he would only command compensation due to his age.

But Leeds should go after a player they have wanted for some time. He would be a good signing for now, and would also be one for the future should he not manage to become a regular this season.
