Sunderland have been in great form in League One this season and will be hoping to get back to winning ways after a 2-2 draw with Walsall on Saturday. 

But the club teased that Max Power, who received a red card in that match before getting it rescinded, could be starting against Barnsley tonight.

It was his third red of the season and would have led to a five-match ban, but the club appealed the decision and won, leaving the Wigan Athletic loanee available for tonight's clash.

Both the Black Cats and the Tykes are flying high in the League One table, with Sunderland occupying second-place and Barnsley sat in fourth, with just two points separating the pair.

A win could take Jack Ross's to within one point of table-toppers Portsmouth, providing they lose to Walsall at Fratton Park.

The reaction from fans to the teasing video was a mixed bag.
