Football League World understand that Fulham are open to selling Anthony Knockaert this summer, with Nottingham Forest holding an interest in the winger.

Knockaert - whose loan move from Brighton to Fulham was turned into a permanent £10million move at the end of last season - joined Forest on loan in October.

The loan deal would initially run until January with Forest including an option to make the move permanent, but as 2021 arrived, they chose to extend it until the end of the season instead.

Knockaert has been a key player for Forest this season, making 28 Championship appearances and scoring twice whilst registering one assist.

Sources have told Football League World that Fulham are open to letting Knockaert leave on a permanent basis this summer, though, with Forest interested in bringing him to the City Ground for good.

Knockaert's wages could prove to be a stumbling block, though, with Forest set to review their finances over the next couple of months before making any sort of decision.

What do the fans think, then? Knockaert is a player who frustrates at times, but is undoubtedly Forest's best creative outlet when it is his day.

Here, we take a look at what fans have made of this news...
