After narrowly missing out on promotion last season, Aston Villa have hit some financial difficulties this summer.

Aston Villa need a new goalkeeper and Ward should be targeted on loan.

The Wales international has won promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs before during his time at Huddersfield Town, where he was one of the best stoppers in the league.
