Following his loan spell in the second half of the 2020/21 season, Charlie Austin has thousands of Queens Park Rangers fans tracking his every message as they look for answers as to whether or not he will be signing for them.

Austin revealed back in April that he would love to join the club permanently once again as soon as his contract with West Brom had expired, but the club had to show the ambition that they want to be a Premier League club in 2022.

In the middle of May, West London Sport confirmed that an agreement for the 31-year-old had almost been reached, but since then things have gone quiet as the R's first wrapped up the signing of Sam Field on a permanent basis.

QPR have been teasing a new signing for days now and are offering the chance for a fan to be present when the contract is signed, and many believe that Austin is the one that will be putting pen to paper.

And at this point R's fans just want it done and dusted with the fear that other Championship clubs could come in for the experienced striker should they not have a deal tied up yet.

Even Austin tweeting a simple thing as 'good morning' is a hint in the eyes of some Hoops supporters that he's about to rejoin the club permanently - they've been reacting to his message on social media after he has been silent for a number of days.
