‘Get in’, ‘Love it’, ‘Decent’ – Some Millwall fans react to starting XI vs Preston North End

Published

on

Millwall will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing draw with Barnsley on Saturday when they travel to Preston North End this evening.

The Lions needed a Jake Cooper header to rescue a point against the Tykes, although it ended their winless run in the Championship.

Millwall now take on a Preston side that have lost all three of their league matches at Deepdale this term, and begin the night two points behind the Londoners in the current standings.

Neither Gary Rowett or his assistant Adam Barrett are in Lancashire, after both tested positive for COVID-19, meaning U23s boss Kevin Nugent, Shaun Williams and club Alex Pearce are in the dugout.

Millwall have made three changes from Saturday’s draw – with Murray Wallace and Ryan Woods replacing Pearce and Williams, whilst Kenneth Zohore makes his full Lions debut in place of Connor Mahoney.

Elsewhere, Shane Ferguson and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson are back in the matchday squad for the first time since the Wycombe victory – with Pearce and Williams dropping out.

Plenty Millwall fans took to social media to express their opinions on the line-up.
