Last night saw the third round draw of the Carabao Cup take place with a variety of teams from up and down the English footballing ladder involved.

One of the bigger draws from the night saw Championship strugglers Bolton Wanderers matched up against Premier League West Ham at the London Stadium.

Phil Parkinson’s side have been struggling as of late and are yet to register their first league win this season with two draws and two losses in their opening four fixtures.

Their only wins have come in the cup this season with victories against Crewe and Sheffield Wednesday in the first and second rounds respectively.

The third-round fixtures are due to take place the week beginning the 18^th of September so the Wanderers have plenty of time to fix their form and get themselves in shape for a tough test.
