Plenty of Leeds United fans have taken to social media to give their view on the future of head coach Marcelo Bielsa, after the play-off semi-final defeat to Derby County last night.

Bielsa took charge at Elland Road last summer, but was unable to guide the team to promotion to the Premier League.

The Whites just missed out on automatic promotion from the Championship to Sheffield United, after losing three of their final four league matches and their play-off hopes were ended by Derby last night, as the team capitulated in the second half at Elland Road.

The defeat to the Rams means that Leeds' 15-year wait for a return to the Premier League goes on and has caused many to question whether Bielsa will remain in charge at Elland Road next season.

His contract at Elland Road would have been automatically extended for another season should Leeds have won promotion, but he is now free to walk away from the club if he wishes.

Leeds and majority shareholder Andrea Radrizzani are reportedly keen for Bielsa to stay at Elland Road for another 12 months, but they would be powerless to prevent him from leaving if he wished to.

The defeat to Derby last night has caused many Leeds fans to question whether Bielsa will stay on as head coach next season.

Many of them have taken to social media to urge the board to persuade him to stay, by giving him more money to strengthen in squad in the transfer market.
