Sheffield Wednesday have posted a clip that shows star striker Steven Fletcher working in the gym as he recovers from his injury, which has drawn an excited response from many fans of the club.

The Scotsman is Wednesday's top scorer this season, having found the net 12 times in the Championship, but is currently sidelined with a knee injury.

On the 9th of January, it was reported that Fletcher was facing up to 10 weeks out due to the injury, which he suffered in the 1-0 victory over Brighton in the FA Cup.

Wednesday's other three forwards, Sam Winnall, Atdhe Nuhiu, and Jordan Rhodes, have scored just seven goals between them this season, so you feel Garry Monk will want him back fit as soon as possible.

It appears Fletcher's return may not be too far away, as the Owls have posted a video on Twitter showing the forward working hard in the gym.

Wednesday were hammered 5-0 at the hands of Blackburn Rovers but remain within reach of the top six and a swift return from Fletcher would be a real boost to their chances of promotion this season.
