Nottingham Forest have reportedly declared an interest in signing former Derby County forward Matej Vydra on loan until the end of the season, according to the Sportsman.

The 26-year old played a massive part in guiding the Rams to a play-off semi-final finish last term, scoring 22 goals in 44 games for the Reds' bitter rivals.

The Czech Republic international then moved to Burnley in the summer for a reported fee of £11million, but has really failed to set the world alight at Turf Moor, making just three league starts for Sean Dyche's men.

Forest have already been active on deadline day with the signing of AS Monaco midfielder Pele on loan until the end of the season, and Martin O'Neill's men have also been linked with a move to sign Wolves striker Leo Bonatini.

Vydra would undoubtedly be a massive coup for the Reds - the striker finished as the Championship's top goalscorer last season, and it could be a bitter blow for Derby in Forest's push for promotion.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to being linked with Matej Vydra...
