Tottenham are well in the race to sign Norwich City sensation James Maddison, according to the Telegraph.

Spurs are joined by an array of Premier League clubs all keen on snapping up the 21-year-old hot prospect.

Would Spurs be an ideal location for him?

We discuss...

He can be the next Dele Alli - Get him in Poch!

Ever since he broke through into the Coventry first team, I have been saying this.

The youngster has natural skill and so much talent and a team like Spurs would be the perfect environment for him to fulfil his potential, given their record of bringing through young English players.

Alfie Burns

If Maddison is to move to a top-six side, Tottenham should be where he goes.

Mauricio Pochettino’s faith in young players has to be applauded, and Maddison will be confident he can take a similar career path to Dele Alli, another Tottenham midfielder.

He might not be guaranteed games next season, but you could see Maddison building a future at Spurs.

George Dagless

He'd be ideal for them.

Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen might start ahead of him in the pecking order but there's no reason why he can't emulate the former for sure.

Alli quickly adapted and I think Maddison could too - especially with Pochettino looking after him and guiding him.

Gary Hutchinson

Spurs do have a good pedigree bringing through English talent, Dele Alli has thrived there.

Of all the 'big' clubs interested in the Norwich man, I'd strongly recommend he goes to Spurs. He's got the talent to succeed, but this move must suit both parties.

After al, as England fans it is in our interests that his development is carefully managed.
