Wolverhampton Wanderers were crowned Sky Bet Championship champions on Saturday, as they thrashed Bolton Wanderers 4-0 at the Macron Stadium.

It has been a stellar season for Nuno Santo's side and plans will already be starting ahead of their Premier League campaign next season.

You get the feeling it will be a busy transfer window for the Black Country side, and there will be plenty of transfer rumours swirling around regarding Wolves.

One player whose career is seemingly in limbo is Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

It is uncertain whether he will remain at Stamford Bridge next season, and Wolves could be tempted in making a swoop for the player.

Should Wolves make a move for him? Or should they look elsewhere?

We discuss....

Ben Barkworth

Wolves' current set-up doesn't suit Loftus Cheek, but with a few tweaks Santo could create a role in his team for him.

He'd be a great signing if he is willing to do these changes, but he may want to keep it as it is due to their success this season. In which case, a move for Loftus-Cheek wouldn't be ideal.

Jay Williams

Get him in!

If Chelsea make him available for transfer, Wolves need to splash the cash on the England international because he is young, strong and powerful.

Loftus-Cheek could reach the very top of the game one day and a midfield pairing of him and Ruben Neves would surely fire Wolves to the top ten in the Premier League at the very least.

Alfie Burns

The midfielder’s size and athleticism alongside Ruben Neves would give Wolves a really good central midfield pairing.

Molineux could be the perfect place for Loftus-Cheek to develop, with his chances at Chelsea sure to be limited again next season.

If Nuno can promise the youngster regular first-team football, I’m sure it’s a move that all parties would be open to.

Worth enquiring about.

Gary Hutchinson

I think they'll see Loftus-Cheek as below them, which is a shame because he would be a fine signing.

They're going into the top flight believing they're a top six side and he's going to be a target for an aspiring top ten side.

It's blind folly, Loftus-Cheek has the potential to be a wonderful footballer if someone will give him plenty of first team chances.

Chris Gallagher

Yes, he would be a good signing.

A permanent deal seems out the question and one issue is that Wolves might not be keen on developing Chelsea's player for them.

But, he would bring a lot to their squad and would also suit the style of play that Santo adopts. It could be a good move for all parties.
