With the pressure building on Paul Lambert at Ipswich Town, Neil Warnock is reportedly being lined up as a replacement for the Scot at Portman Road.

The Tractor Boys' bid for promotion has derailed over the past few months, with the club going from table-toppers to ninth place in the Sky Bet League One table.

With 12 games remaining, Town sit five points off the play-off places and have only won one of their last seven games, after losing 2-1 to managerless Blackpool at the weekend.

If Lambert were to leave Portman Road, the Sunday Mirror (01/03, page 74) claim that Warnock is interested in becoming the new Ipswich manager and could replace the former.

Warnock has been out of work since leaving Cardiff City in the early stages of the campaign, after claiming that it would be his last game as a manager before retiring.

But the 71-year-old is 12 games short of 1500 as a manager, and could return to management in order to surpass that remarkable milestone.

Here, then, we take a look at Ipswich fans' reactions to Warnock potentially taking over at Portman Road...
