Middlesbrough fell to a fifth successive defeat last night as their season continues to unravel.

Adam Webster scored the only goal of the game to give Bristol City the win after 31 minutes at the Riverside on Tuesday evening.

The defeat piles the pressure on manager Tony Pulis even more, with the club now two points off the play-offs having had a six-point cushion a couple of weeks back.

A chorus of boos rung around Boro’s frustrated home support at the final whistle to signal their displeasure and the result and current run of the team.

Pulis’ side are now eighth in the table with seven games left to play.

It was yet another damaging defeat to a side who have not tasted victory in six matches – winning just two of their previous ten outings.

Boro have even scored fewer goals scored than Rotherham United who occupy the final relegation place.

With that said, here’s what the Middlesbrough faithful had to say in the wake of yet another reverse, this time at the hands of Lee Johnson’s Bristol City.
