With the January transfer window fast approaching, Nottingham Forest are extremely likely to be in the market for a new striker next month.

Lewis Grabban and Rafa Mir are the club's only recognisable strikers at present, therefore depth is certainly needed if the Reds are to maintain their fight for promotion this term.

Over the course of the summer transfer window, the likes of Daryl Murphy, Jason Cummings, Hillal Soudani and Apostolos Vellios all left the club, but weren't replaced by Lamouchi.

The Reds also allowed Tyler Walker to leave the City Ground on loan, with the young forward joining Lincoln City for the 2019/20 campaign.

Walker - who scored 26 goals for Mansfield Town last season - has since been on fire for the Imps, scoring 10 goals in 24 games for the League One side.

Can you get 11 out of 11 on this Forest quiz?

Due to his impressive form in front of goal, plenty of Forest fans have been debating whether to recall the 23-year-old from his loan spell at Sincil Bank in January.

There are some who think he should be ahead of Rafa Mir in the pecking order, whereas others think that he would benefit from staying at Lincoln and playing regularly, rather than play as a back-up option to Grabban.

Here, then, we take a look at their views in the Nottingham Forest Crew News Facebook group as well as the Nottingham Forest - Reddogs Forever group...

Sarah Rob Blake: Get him back at forest he will score goals for us

Russell Steven: He can't even get in Lincolns first team at the moment, says it all

Lee Clarke: Started every single league game except for Saturday Russell Steven, I'm not entirely sure that constitutes 'can't get in their team'.

Philip Hardy: They did say a season long loan. I think your Nick Green. Anyway he needs to continue to developement.

Michael Denbo Sidney Denby: Give him a chance if he’s not good enough sure there will be lower teams wanting his signature

Andy Vann: Give him one more go

Debra Smith: I like Walker and he seems to do well wherever he goes, but I'm not convinced he's strong enough for the championship.
