Bristol City midfielder Joe Morrell has had a hugely impressive season on loan with League One side Lincoln City and a compilation of his best bits this term has left many Robins fans excited.

The 23-year-old joined the Imps on a season-long loan in July and been an integral player for the League One outfit, featuring 32 times for them so far.

Such has been the quality of his performances that he made his international debut earlier in the campaign and was part of the Wales side that secured qualification to Euro 2020.

A midfielder that is capable of both breaking up opposition play and launching attacks, Morrell looks a really bright prospect and one that could have a big impact in a City shirt next season.

Twitter user jbcfc has posted a compilation video of his performances for Lincoln this term, which highlights just how impressive he has been.

The Welshman, who turned down a move to Liverpool in favour of staying with City as a youth player, has made just six senior appearances for the Robins so far.

However, with Josh Brownhill having left the club in January, it looks as if Lee Johnson will need to bolster his midfield in the summer and the returning Morrell could be just the man to do that.

He certainly appears to be popular with the City fans already, plenty of whom took to Twitter to express their excitement.
