Ipswich Town have confirmed the signing of Wolves keeper Will Norris as Paul Lambert looks to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion.

The Tractor Boys let experienced stopper Bartosz Bialkowski leave on a season-long loan to Millwall and it was announced shortly after that Norris had been brought in from Wanderers as his replacement.

Even though the 25-year-old has been at Molineux for the past two years, game time has been hard to come by.

In his first season for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, Norris made just one league appearance and featured in the cup games as backup to John Ruddy.

However, Rui Patricio's arrival knocked him back to third choice for the previous campaign and Norris only got a few minutes of action as a late sub against Fulham in May.

Therefore, a move is seen as crucial for the development of the talented former Cambridge man and he will hope to play a key role for Ipswich next season.

And, the fans certainly have high expectations. Here's some of the reaction to Norris' arrival on Twitter...
