It is also believed that the 19-year-old is interesting Marseille, as Kit Symons looks to keep hold of the young starlet.

Dembele first moved to Craven Cottage at the age of 16 in 2012 from Paris Saint-Germain and became an instant regular in Fulham's U18 side, culminating with the capture of the Premier Academy League at the end of the season.

His goalscoring form for the U18 and U21 sides saw him make his first-team debut for the Cottagers in November 2013 at home to West Ham United, coming on as an 83rd minute substitute, and a further Premier League appearance came when he made his first start in a 3-1 defeat to Everton four months later.

Dembele's first goals came in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup in October 2014 when his brace put his side 2-0 up against fellow Championship side Derby County, though the Rams eventually came from behind to win 5-2.

He has gone on to make appearances in all of Fulham's opening matches in the 2015/16 season, as Kit Symons' team find themselves in 14th place after six games.

Dembele has also been a regular for France's youth teams, clocking up appearances for the U16, U17, U18 and U19 national sides.

This summer, he was part of the France U19 side that reached the semi-finals of the 2015 European Championships, bagging two goals in five appearances before Les Bleus were defeated 2-0 by Spain in the last four.

With the transfer deadline looming closer, will Kit Symons be braced for more interest in his young forward?
