West Brom head into Friday night's clash with Midlands rivals Aston Villa, looking to derail Villa's unbeaten streak and maintain the pressure on the Championship top two, Norwich City and Leeds United.

If winger Hal Robson-Kanu has recovered from the knock he suffered in the draw with Brentford last time out, then Baggies manager Darren Moore will have to decide between Robson-Kanu and Dwight Gayle as to who gets to start on Friday night.

So who from the duo should get the nod from Moore?

We discuss....,.

George Harbey

Gayle by a country mile.

No disrespect to Robson-Kanu, but Gayle has so many more goals in him, and has been a star man for West Brom this season.

He simply needs to start.

Jacob Potter

It’s got to be Gayle.

Robson-Kanu is nursing a knee injury that he picked up on Monday and shouldn’t even be risked against Villa.

Gayle is a more than worthy replacement and should be ahead of the Welshman in the pecking order at West Brom anyway.

Gayle’s goalscoring record speaks for itself and he will be keen to add to his impressive tally against their local rivals on Friday.

Louie Chandler

It simply has to be Gayle.

Robson-Kanu has done well in recent weeks but he should not be a regular starter for Moore's side.

Gayle is the best striker in the league for me and should be one of the first names on Moore's teamsheet.
