Millwall take on London rivals Queens Park Rangers at The Den in a crucial game for both sides on Tuesday evening.

Gary Rowett's are currently enduring a eight-match winless Championship run in recent weeks and failed to score for a fifth time during that period in their defeat to Derby County last time out.

Failing to beat Rangers tomorrow would mean the Lions' worst league run since a nine-match winless spell between February and March 2015 when the club were last relegation from the second-tier.

And Rowett will be without on-loan West Brom striker, Kenneth Zohore, for the game in South Bermondsey after the Millwall boss confirmed that the Dane isn't expected to return to action until later this month.

Zohore had made just three appearances following his Deadline Day loan move from the Baggies, and Rowett initially thought he could be back playing by the middle of December, but confirmed that he's currently behind schedule.

Quiz: Which club did Millwall sell each of these 20 players to?

"That was the best-case scenario if everything went to plan and he healed really quickly," he told South London Press. "He is probably a week to 10 days behind that.

"I would say at the moment that you're probably looking more at the end of December, which of course is frustrating.

"But it seems at the moment that we have got to battle through a few issues and see if we can come out the other side stronger and performing better."

The Verdict

With Millwall's strikers struggling for goals, whilst Troy Parrott is still finding his feet at senior level, the return of Zohore would have given the squad a massive boost - especially given the impression he made during his first few games in a Lions shirt.

And whilst missing a further 10 days might not sound too long, the festive period being just around the corner means that Zohore being ruled out until the end of December could see him miss the Lions' next six Championship fixtures, including against Bournemouth and Watford.
