Millwall turn their attention to the FA Cup on Saturday when they travel to National League side Boreham Wood in the third round.

Gary Rowett's men were beaten by Coventry City last weekend to leave them with just one victory in their previous 12 Championship outings.

But a trip to Meadow Park appears the perfect distraction for the Lions, who'll be hoping to record a convincing win over the fifth-tier side to restore some much-needed confidence in the squad.

One player that is likely to feature in north London is Kenneth Zohore. The on-loan West Brom striker made his comeback from a long-term muscle problem against the Sky Blues on Saturday, but has featured just four times since making the switch from The Hawthorns on Deadline Day.

Did Millwall sign each of these 14 players for more or less than £500k?

Including the trip to the Non League outfit, Zohore has just three more chances to impress the Lions boss before his loan deal from the Baggies expires on 16 January.

Rowett told South London Press: "I don't even think it's worth having the discussion until we're satisfied he can be fit and stay fit. We've got three more games for him to be able to play in. It might be out of our hands. I'd love to keep him, because I think he can make a massive, massive difference."

The Verdict

This is an extremely difficult decision for Rowett.

Whilst he clearly wants to extend Zohore's loan spell until the end of the season, his recent injury problems would suggest that relying on the Danish strike would be a major risk.

However, with the trip to Boreham Wood the first of three games in eight days, Zohore's situation will only become clearer in the coming days, and a good performance against the National League side could be the first step in the striker remaining at The Den until the end of the current season.
