Garry Monk is hopeful of landing League Two Player of the Season Kemar Roofe, after he helped Oxford United to promotion this season.

Roofe scored when Oxford secured a 3-2 win against Monk's Swansea side in the FA Cup earlier in the season, and now the Leeds manager appears keen to bring him to Elland Road, regardless of the cost.

Leeds' attack is in desperate need of a makeover if the Whites are to launch any sort of Promotion or Play-Off chase next season, and after scoring an incredible 26 goals and notching 9 assists in League Two last season, Roofe could be the perfect man to lead the new look front line.

But everyone knows that you can't put the weight of the whole team's attack on one man's shoulders, and Monk will have to do more than just bringing in Roofe should he want to please trigger-happy owner Massimo Cellino.

Here is Garry Monk's ultimate front THREE for next season including Kemar Roofe.....

RW - Kemar Roofe

Roofe

The Oxford man has been highly impressive this season, carving open League Two defences with his pace, and his ability in front of goal is excellent too, as shown by the fact he banged in 26 goals in the league this season alone.

It is a big jump up to the Championship from League Two, but after some brilliant FA Cup performances against the likes of Swansea, he has clearly shown he can cause Premier League and Championship defences a lot of trouble.

ST - Chris Wood

The New Zealand international has had a stop start first season at Elland Road, but it is clear that the 24-year-old has an abundance of talent in his locker.

The tall forward is excellent at holding up the ball and bringing other players into attacking plays, and is a player Garry Monk will no doubt look to get the best out of next season.

LW - Sone Aluko

The striker was surprisingly released by Hull City after falling behind key man Abel Hernandez and Arsenal loanee Chuba Akpom last season, so is now a free agent.

Aluko is attracting interest from several Championship clubs, but if Leeds table an appealing offer, they surely could land the Nigerian striker.

There is no doubt about his ability, but keeping him fit and firing may prove a challenge for Monk.

However, keep him scoring and Leeds could be on their way to the Premier League.
