One player Monk should consider loaning out in January is definitely Kemar Roofe, as he has struggled to find his feet in the Championship following his move from Oxford United.
Roofe has made just 5 starts since signing for the club and has failed to score in any of his appearances, either from the start or as a substitute.
This is in stark contrast to last season when Roofe was scoring for fun as Oxford marched to promotion from League Two.
Roofe made 48 appearances in all competitions last season and netted a remarkable 26 goals in the process.
At the age of 23, Roofe could very well still turn out to be a good investment as he has plenty of time to reach his full potential and in order to do that, he needs to be playing regular first team football.
Therefore, a spell in League One could potentially help he re-find his confidence and best form.
