Garry Monk has taken to his personal Twitter account to insist Leeds Unitedâs sole focus is to continue their unbeaten run on Saturday evening against Reading.
Leeds head to the Madejski Stadium for the Sky Bet Championshipâs evening kick-off, and will be looking to extend their seven game unbeaten run against their Play-Off rivals.
Reading striker Yann Kermorgant and manager Jaap Stam, have both been very vocal with their thoughts on Monkâs side, but the 38-year old refused to be drawn into mind games.
Monk tweeted: âInternational break over. Looking forward to the game Saturday. We're preparing with the aim of extending our unbeaten run.â
Saturdayâs result could hold huge significance in the race for promotion to the Premier League, with Leeds currently fourth and Reading just two-points behind in fifth.
Leeds will undoubtedly face a difficult test against Stamâs side, and could be without top scorer Chris Wood, who picked up a minor injury on international duty with New Zealand.
