Speaking to the media ahead of Leeds United’s clash with QPR this weekend, Garry Monk confirmed he will have both Chris Wood and Luke Ayling available for selection, reports the club’s official Twitter account.

Wood and Ayling missed Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Fulham, where a late Tom Cairney goal denied Monk’s side a vital three-points.

Wood was absent with a calf injury, whilst Ayling missed the clash due to his partner giving birth.

The New Zealand international has been key for Leeds this season, scoring 25 goals across all competitions.

Tuesday’s clash was also the first league game Ayling has missed since his transfer from Bristol City in August.

Souleymane Doukara replaced Wood as the focal point of Leeds’ attack, and Charlie Taylor made his comeback from injury replacing Ayling in defence.

One player Leeds will be without on Saturday is Kalvin Phillips, who was sent off in Tuesday’s draw with Fulham.
