Fulham’s talented new star sets out his future goals amid PL interest

Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon wants to help the club win promotion back to the Premier League, he revealed in his first interview with Fulham FC TV.

The 16-year-old has been one of the revelations of the season, breaking into the first team and contributing with consistent performances and goals from left back and left midfield.

Sessegnon has broken numerous records, including becoming the youngest ever Championship goal scorer and the etching his name in the record books as the first player to be born after 2000 and score in the Football League.

This impressive debut season has not gone unnoticed and the England under-19 international is being tracked by a number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

However, the teenage sensation showed maturity beyond his years in his first ever interview and appeared focused on his responsibilities with Fulham.

Sessegnon said (quotes provided by Get West London):

“My ambition is to be the best that I can be – I’m a Fulham player, this is my club and I love being at this club and the opportunities I have had this season have been great.

“On a personal note, I want to help the team to gain promotion to the Premier League where we belong.”
