Fulham are set to make a shock move for Fenerbache striker Emmanuel Emenike, according to the Nation.
The Nigerian forward wants out of the Turkish league after suffering various accounts of racist abuse.
The Whites are set to use Greek striker Kostas Mitroglou as part of the deal as he returns from his loan spell at Olympiacos, and they will look to get his Premier League wages off of their wage bill.
Olympiacos are interested in signing the striker but Fenerbache want to offer up the availability of Emenike as a replacement.
The 27-year-old striker recently bought a house in Essex, which has fuelled speculation of a move to England.
Fulham have had an appalling season and they’re looking to offload the majority of their squad this year, with Fulham boss Kit Symons set to bring in plenty of new signings over the summer.
The west London outfit finished in 17th place and accumulated 52 Sky Bet Championship points during the season.
Fulham fans…. What do you make of this news? Is it a case of the sooner you get Mitroglou out of the club the better? Would Ememike be a good replacement? Let us know your thoughts and feelings in the comments below!
